Mangaluru : All India Congress Committee General Secretary and Karnataka in-charge KC Venugopal visited Mangaluru and took part in the ‘Mane Manege Congress’ campaign on Monday.
Venugopal said that ‘Mane Manege Congress’ is a programme started to create awareness among general public on various developmental programmes of Siddaramaiah government in 4.5 years in Karnataka.
“The KPCC is determined to take each and every programme of the government to the doorsteps of the people in Karnataka. Siddaramaiah government in Karnataka has set a record in developmental activities as well as in social welfare activities.
He said he has completed reviewing the performance of the government in 13 district and on November 7 and 8 he will review four more districts including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi Chikkamagaluru and Hassan.
On BJP’s Parivarthana Rally, Venu Gopal said that the country should witness ‘Parivarthan’ of people going away from the BJP.
Recalling Nov 8, he said that demonetisation was brought in to curb black money, counterfeit menace and to fight extremism, but the reality is that the purpose has not been served.
