Congress will win again, but I may not be CM: Siddaramaiah ….

Mysuru :  Chief Minister Siddaramaiah while inaugurating various development programmes at Udbur village in Chamundeshwari constituency has spoken his heart by saying that the Congress may again win in the forthcoming assembly elections, but I may not be the CM, he said.

He said ‘everything is uncertain in politics, there are no permanent friends or enemies. In the forthcoming Assembly election, there is all possibility that my good friend G T Devegowda, the sitting MLA from Chamundeshwari constituency may be my opposition, said Siddaramaiah.

My innings as an MLA started from Chamundeshwari constituency in the year 1983. After I was expelled from Janata Dal in 2006, I resigned as MLA and later joined Congress. The by-election held was a turning point in my life. If I had lost the by-election, it would have been probably the end of my political career, he said.

Meanwhile, G T Devegowda has said that he will be contesting from JDS in assembly poll.
